Overview

Working with another marketing company the goal of the Simple Mobile booth was to create a large sturdy structure that would travel to music events for the summer of 2019. being able to withstand the winds and forces of nature as this needed to be outside. Once complete this structure traveled to 5 seperate locations and resulted in a happy client.

The Challenge

Create a structure that can withstand the elements, and music fans alike. In order to erect this the multi tiered structure, steel beams were needed causing portions of the design budgett being used for the shipping costs of this structure. On top of the heavy beams MDF Particle board was used for the walls, causing difficult application due to lack of adhesion.

My Role

Using limited time my role for this project was to create plans for for setup for this structure. working alongside an engineering team I helped utilize my design skill to help witht he flow of the structure. After working with the engineers I then moved into designing and producing the graphics for the booth. applying the vinyl graphics became a challenge due to the low adhesion that vinyl has to particle board. This problem was overcame by wrapping all edges of the booth creating anchor points for the vinyl to stick to.
